The artist

An entirely fresh approach to body art.

Jack is the artist and owner behind Jacks Tattoos. Working exclusively in black and grey, he specialises in large-scale custom work — pieces that flow with the body and are built to last. Every design is drawn from scratch, tailored entirely around the person wearing it. No flash, no repeats.

Jack has spent years studying under and learning alongside some of the most established black and grey artists working today — absorbing techniques, approaches and standards from the very top of the craft. That foundation shows in every piece, from the depth of the shading to the way a design sits on the skin.

Every project starts with a conversation. Bring a clear idea, a few references, or just a feeling — Jack will shape it into something you'll be proud of for life.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

I have an idea but I'm not sure how to explain it — is that okay? +
Completely. Most people come with a feeling more than a finished concept. A rough idea, a few images you've saved, or even just a vibe is enough to start. Jack will take what you've got and build something around it — that's the whole point of a consultation.
How do I get started? +
Send an enquiry through the form on this page, or drop a message on WhatsApp or Instagram. Jack will get back to you to arrange a consultation where you can talk through your idea before anything is booked or drawn.
Will Jack draw something completely original for me? +
Always. Nothing at Jacks Tattoos gets repeated or copied. Every design is drawn from scratch around you — your idea, your body, your piece.
How many sessions will my tattoo take? +
It depends on the size and complexity. A large back piece or full sleeve is typically planned across multiple sessions spread over time. Jack will give you a realistic idea of what's involved during the consultation so you know exactly what to expect before committing.
Where is the studio and how do I find it? +
The studio is in Crowmarsh, Oxfordshire — a private space, not a high street shop. The full address and directions are shared once your appointment is confirmed.

Thoroughly clean the Tattoo using lukewarm water & fragrance free soap.

Going forward make sure to clean and cream the Tattoo 2 / 3 times a day with the cream your tattoo artist has recommended.
